If you're shoppin' or sellin' at Flea in the Field...

Here's some info for Flea in the Field participants. If you're a seller, load-in begins around 6:30 the morning of the 30th. If you've reserved a spot, then there are a few perks you can expect when you arrive. First things first, the hot coffee will be a brewin'. You're welcome to use the west gate (there will be a sign that says Vendor Registration). This entrance is specifically for the reserved vendors. You can pull your car or truck very close to your space for load-in. If you've requested a certain space, then your name will be on the pin flag within the space. If you did not specify, then you can just choose from any of the other booths with pin flags. Don't forget to pick up your goody bag! Sellers in the unreserved section can go to the east gate (where the OPEN flag is) and check-in at the admission tent. Here you'll need to provide your name and if you're selling as a business, your tax number. Pay your $10 and then hit the ground runnin'! Available spaces have pin flags within the space with booth numbers. Once you've chosen your space, then please pull the pin flag so others know that it's not available. The corners of the spaces have been marked with orange paint. Please respect others and don't spread out beyond your allotted space. There are two fields with booth spaces laid out. You can choose either field. Folks selling from trailers can back into one of several spaces along the east side of the flower barn (formerly the greenhouse). You'll need to unhook your car or truck and move it to the parking area, but you're welcome to sell right off your trailer. These spaces are a little wider to accommodate foot traffic around the trailer.

If you're a shopper, then come on out and bring some friends! There's going to be a wide variety of items for sale, just like an old time country flea market. Half the fun is not knowing what to expect! The Guava Tree Food Truck will be serving yummy lunches, so bring an empty tummy. A word of warning, most of the tiny little farm is quite flat, but like any piece of land, there are always slight dips and occasional holes, so please be aware.

Click on the image to see it full sized. Right click to download.

There's a Christmas parade and Pictures with Santa event in Anna on that Saturday. Bring the family and make a day of it! Once again, in lieu of admission or parking fees, we're asking for folks to bring non-perishables for the Anna Food Pantry.

Vendor Spotlight: Texas Night Light

Name:
Paul and Cyndi Boggess

Business Name:
Texas Night Light

What city is your business located in?
Euless, Texas

What's your specialty?
Our specialty is creating hand poured candles the real Texan way.
Our candle and scent brick products are triple scented to provide that truly strong scent.

How long have you been in business?
We started our scent bricks several years ago for personal use, but then we
felt there was a need to share our success with those around us.
We have officially been Texas Night Light since July 2012.

Favorite hobby or activity not related to your business?
Between the two of us, we love to watch sports and play poker.
We also enjoy our lovely skin and fur children.  All together we have 5 boys and 3 girls.
As our youngest skin child says, our house is an official zoo.

Three words that describe you?
How do you describe the both of us in one question?
Simply put; we are outgoing, fun-loving, and genuine.

Favorite item you've made (or found) that you wish hadn't sold?
Honestly, there is not a product of ours out there that we wish didn’t sell.
We stand behind our products 100% and we aim to please those who want something that is made in Texas with the true BIGGER and BETTER love.

Item that you thought would never sell?
In general it would be all of our products.  It’s always very scary when you decide to take your items public for the world to judge.  But, we are extremely happy with the results and the amazing feedback we have received.

And finally, a question of your own:
The most common question we are asked is do you have this or that scent.  And our answer is always; please check out our website as we offer over 400 scents.  But, if there is something that you are really wanting and we do not have it on our website, that doesn’t mean we cannot offer it to you.  We are in the business to please and we will find and/or make the scent ourselves.  We never charge additional fees for your creation as someone along the way may love your scent, trust us, there have been several we have fallen in love with over time.

Remember, check us out at www.TexasNightLightCandles.com for all our available products.

Thanks Cyndi and Paul for playing along! On a side note, these fine folks very graciously adopted not one, not two, but three precious little fur babies at our October market. They had all been dumped together and Cyndi and Paul wanted them to be able to stay together. Wow, y'all rock!

See Texas Night Light at the December market. They will be in the back yard, near the porch.
